Have a happy summer!

2011 – 2012 Season Wrap-up

We’ve had our last monthly meeting until September. Thank you to our venue hosts, Constant Contact and IBM Center for Social Business, our long list of featured speakers, our CHI Bit presenters, our steering committee, our awesome and varied sponsors, and all of our members and other attendees. Without you all, BostonCHI would be nothing. We were quite fortunate to have an excellent set of speakers, and we’d love to have them all back, but we like variety.

In BostonCHI election news, Todd Chapin is now Chair, Rachel Kern is now Vice-Chair, and Carl Seglem continues on as Treasurer.

We’ve had some attrition of steering committee members during this season, which is always sad, but  least it was for good reasons. We’d like to thank Aaron Powers and Russ Brami in particular for their many years volunteering with us. Russ did a fantastic job of tracking down and convincing speakers to volunteer their time and brain power. Aaron has been the mastermind Membership wrangler and has created a system that allows us to manage our membership process quite smoothly and effectively.

We’re always looking for new steering committee members to work with us. If you’re interested, please email  at chair@bostonchi.org.
