Becoming Photo-Dynamic: Adobe Photoshop CS5 Fundamentals

Tracy Marks

Tracy Marks

What Photoshop tools and techniques can best help you improve your digital photos? How do you effectively alter size and resolution, color correct, retouch, sharpen and composite images? Photoshop takes years to master, but with this focused introduction to its interface and several dozen practical tips, you will learn how to make ordinary photos more dynamic and appealing, both for print and for the Web.

Students should bring laptops (Mac or PC) to class with Photoshop CS4 or CS5 installed. Trial versions of CS5 extended may be downloaded at no cost from Adobe's download page: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/. Practice files to be used in class will be available for download here: www.windweaver.com/photoshop/photodynamic.htm.

Tracy Marks, M.A., has 35 years experience as a continuing education instructor, including 17 years teaching and professionally using Adobe Photoshop. She is also a licensed psychotherapist, author of books on transformational psychology, and a semi-professional nature and figure skating photographer.
